Terms of use

What the service does

RankFabrik collects, on its client's request and on its behalf, publicly accessible data, then returns it in structured form. No collection is triggered other than by a client's call.

What the service doesn't do

• No account is ever created on any source.
• No anti-bot protection is bypassed.
• No session is forged or reused.
• No missing field is inferred, approximated, or filled in by a language model.
• No marketplace review is fabricated.

Billing

The billable unit is a result actually returned. A call that produces no result isn't billed, even when it fails. The quota is monthly and specific to each product. Past the quota the service refuses the call; it doesn't bill for overage.

Availability

The four products are separate applications. The unavailability of one doesn't take down the others. No numeric uptime commitment is made at this time: stating one without measuring it would be an empty promise.

Personal data

The shop keeps the account holder's email address, their password hash, and their keys. It keeps none of the data collected on the client's behalf: results pass through the call and aren't stored. Deleting an account is requested at contact@rankfabrik.com and takes its keys down with it.

Client responsibility

The client remains responsible for how it uses the data it collects, particularly under the General Data Protection Regulation when that data concerns natural persons.

Independence

RankFabrik isn't affiliated with any of the platforms whose public data is collected, and claims no partnership with them.
