Free email checker — verify any address in seconds
Paste an email address and get a deliverability verdict: syntax, disposable-domain check, MX records, and a live mailbox check over SMTP — no message ever sent, no account needed.
Example: [email protected]
Need to check a list?
This tool checks one address by hand. For a list — up to a hundred addresses per call, deduplicated, with a pass/fail summary — that's the Verify API, in early access.

What does each verdict mean?
Valid means the mailbox answered in a live check. Invalid means bad syntax, no mail server, or the mailbox rejected mail. Risky means the domain accepts every address (catch-all), so acceptance alone doesn't prove the mailbox exists. Unknown means the check couldn't reach a conclusive answer.
Does this send an email to the address?
No message is delivered. The check talks to the mail server directly (an SMTP RCPT TO conversation) and reads its answer without ever sending mail (no DATA command).
Is there a limit?
A handful of checks every ten minutes per visitor, free, no sign-up. For a list of addresses — up to a hundred at once, deduplicated, with a summary — that's the Verify API.
